As an alternative to litigation, mediation is typically less expensive and less time-consuming, leaves control in the hands of the disputing parties rather than a judge and jury, and leaves the parties free to fashion their own solutions.

Since 1988 our mediators have handled over 130 medical malpractice disputes. Many of those disputes involve multiple defendants and most are large dollar cases such as wrongful death cases or cases involving severe and permanent injuries. Our mediators take an active role in the mediations. We organize an effective process, and make sure that the parties and their attorneys have the information they need to negotiate comfortably. We provide a neutral perspective on the issues to help the parties evaluate the case, develop proposals and ultimately decide about settlement.
