Dispute Resolution Experience and Training

Michael Kaufman has been mediating divorce and post-decree matters since 2004. He attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1993. He received his mediation training at the nationally recognized Mediation Center in Eugene, Oregon.

Primary Practice Area

Mr. Kaufman’s practice has been dedicated to family law since 1993. He has had his own private practice since 1994. In his career he has handled approximately 750 family law matters involving custody, parenting, property, and/or support issues through the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Courts.

He is a member of the Collaborative Law Center, Cincinnati Family Law Section since 2000 and has served on their Steering Committee since 2002. In addition, Mr. Kaufman has extensive experience as an appointed Guardian Ad Litem for children through the Domestic Relations Court.

Mr. Kaufman is committed to resolving any and all family law issues through the low conflict forum of mediation.
